Alzheimer’s Disease Studies

Current Studies

We are currently conducting the following research studies for people who are at risk for Alzheimer’s disease or already experiencing memory loss:

TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 3 Study

The TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 3 Study is evaluating how safe an investigational drug is and how effective it is at slowing memory and thinking issues for people who have normal memory and thinking, but who are at risk for Alzheimer’s disease.

TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 6 Study

The TRAILBLAZER-ALZ 6 study is evaluating whether different doses of an investigational drug are safe and effective for people with the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

TRAILRUNNER-ALZ 1 Study

The TRAILRUNNER-ALZ 1 Study is evaluating how safe an investigational drug is and how effective it is at removing amyloid plaques associated with memory and thinking issues for people with early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.

TRAILRUNNER-ALZ 2 Study

The TRAILRUNNER-ALZ 2 Study is evaluating how safe an investigational drug is and how effective it is at slowing memory and thinking issues for people with early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.

TRAILRUNNER-ALZ 3 Study

The TRAILRUNNER-ALZ 3 Study is evaluating how safe an investigational drug is and how effective it is at slowing memory and thinking issues for people with early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.

Study Locations

The map below shows the locations where we currently have study centers supporting our Alzheimer’s disease research studies.

Don’t see one in your area? You can still answer a brief questionnaire here to see if you may qualify and save your information. That way we can reach out to you as new study centers open up in your area.

New studies and locations will be added as they become available—check this page for updates.

Neurons

See how you’re staring at this image? When we stare, shout, walk, or remember, it’s the result of signals passing through the 100 billion nerve cells in our brain called neurons.

Electrical charges help these neurons talk to each other. These charges can generate enough electricity to power a low-wattage bulb!1 The combination of these electrical and chemical signals is responsible for the actions mentioned above.
